As mentioned previously, we are planning a Ryder Cup-style golf event for next year.

 

We have selected The Manor & Ashbury Resorts in Devon as the venue – a fantastic location boasting five excellent golf courses. A few of us have already visited and can confidently say the facilities and overall experience are top-notch.

Event Details:

• Where: The Manor & Ashbury Resorts in Devon - www.manorandashburyresorts.co.uk

• Dates: Thursday 4th June – Sunday 7th June 2026

• Cost: £500 per person
  (Includes twin-share accommodation for 3 nights, all meals – breakfast, lunch, and dinner (unlimited), 27 holes of golf per day, and buggies)
  Please note: drinks and snacks are not included.

 

Payment Schedule:

• Deposit: £130 per person (to secure your spot) must be paid by Friday 31st October 2025.

• Remaining Balance: £370 due by 31st March 2026

One hell of a mess!

 

Alternate Shots

• One ball in play per team, shots alternate between teammates

• Only one score recorded for each hole for the team

 

Best Ball

• Each team member plays their own ball throughout the round

• After each hole, the team member with the lowest score uses their score for the team score for that hole

Greensomes

• Both teammates tee off on each hole

• The best drive is chosen, the rest of the hole is played as alternate shots

​​

Singles

• Each Team Player will go head to head with the oposite opoenent. Match play, not stroke play.
