Starting in 2027, each attendee at each meeting throughout the season pays £1 on top of the standard fee and prize pot money, as hole-in-one insurance. The pot accumulates until someone lands the Society's very first hole in one. The value of the pot is awarded as insurance against the hefty bar bill that's sure to follow.
Note: you must be a member to win the pot — guests are excluded. The pot is only awarded for a hole in one at an Order of Merit event, i.e. one of the main meetings of the season.
